At Mis Tortuguitas, our Infant Program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally enriching environment where your baby can grow and thrive during their most formative months. Spanish Immersion from the Start
Language learning begins at birth. In our Spanish immersion setting, infants are gently introduced to the Spanish language through songs, lullabies, storytime, and everyday interactions. This consistent exposure helps lay the groundwork for bilingual language acquisition and strengthens cognitive development, even before babies begin to speak.
Responsive Care & Daily Routines
Our infant schedule is responsive to each child’s natural routine for feeding, sleeping, and play. We partner closely with families to ensure that care plans reflect your child’s home schedule and developmental goals. Our staff carefully document meals, diapering, naps, and milestones so parents stay informed and involved in their child’s daily experience.
Sensory-Rich & Safe Exploration
Our infant room is thoughtfully designed with age-appropriate toys, soft surfaces, and safe spaces to explore. We focus on tummy time, sensory play, and motor development activities to encourage curiosity, strengthen muscles, and foster independence. Infants are encouraged to explore at their own pace, guided by caring adults who celebrate every achievement.
Partnership with Families
We believe that strong communication and trust with families are essential. Daily updates, photo sharing, and open dialogue ensure that parents are always connected to their child’s growth. Cleanliness and Safety First
Health and safety are our top priorities. Our infant room is sanitized throughout the day, and strict protocols are followed for diapering, handwashing, and sanitizing toys and surfaces. Our staff are trained in infant CPR, safe sleep practices, and emergency procedures.
